Sea Monkey Instant Life Starter/Replacement Kits

Instant Life Refill is a starter kit for Sea Monkeys. You can use any Sea Monkey home you already have or just a 12 ounce jar if you want. Add the water purifier (packet 1) to distilled water, then after twenty four hours add the Instant Live Eggs and watch your Sea Monkeys start to hatch.

After five days you can begin to feed them from packet #3 using the special Sea Monkey feeding spoon.

Use the magnifying glass to really get up close and watch your Sea Monkeys grow and perform their crazy antics!

Sea-Monkeys are not really Monkeys but are called that because of their playful demeanor and the fact that they have tails!

Sea-Monkeys are actually a hybrid species of brine shrimp called "Artemia NYOS". "Artemia" is the genus they belong to, which includes Fairy and Brine shrimp. NYOS is the acronym for the New York Ocean Science Laboratories where they were created. However, There are several differences between Sea-Monkeys and brine shrimp. Sea-Monkeys grow much larger, growing between 1/2" and 3/4" long and they live longer than ordinary brine shrimp. They are also a lot more active and can be taught to perform "tricks", unlike ordinary brine shrimp.

You cannot find Sea-Monkeys in the Ocean, you will only find them in your Instant Life packet and Sea-Monkey tank! Brine shrimp live in salt lakes and salt flats, but your Sea-Monkeys are not brine shrimp. They belong to the same genus, "Artemia", but are completely different animals.
