More about shipping your Carnivorous Plants

Although we do not sell plants anymore, there is something you might want to remember if you purchase carnivorous plants online from a grower. Summer temperatures are very damaging to plants, much more so than shipping during the winter. Plants left on a front porch or between a screen and front door when delivered may suffer, especially if left in full sunshine. Most plants are shipped in boxes that are too large to fit into your mail box so the postal carrier will bring it to your door. If you're not going to have someone at home to accept the shipment, it may be best to use your work address if your shipper will allow it rather than risk having your plants left in the sun.

Be sure to read growing instructions for your particular plant on the "Carnivorous Help Topics" menu.

Most issues have been covered more than once, either on the home page of this site or in these help documents. If you have a question that hasn't been covered, feel free to contact us at mwcp@worldcaravan.com.
